It’s late, I know. And ACTUALLY late, not just in the same week, but not as timely as I’d like late. NEVER MIND. Let’s cast our minds back a week and a bit to what was at the time MAYBE my new fav episode of the series. But now it has definitely settled down just…

Doctor Who – Thin Ice
So last week's Doctor Who was PRETTY DARNED GREAT. Here are SOME WORDS about how great it was (if you don't want words, I was also talking about this ep on last week's Teevee podcast with me Verity! cohort Erika Ensign, and Jason Snell): SO PRETTY. I do like a pretty episode and this ep…
Doctor Who – Smile
There was a Jessica Jones ep called Smile, wasn't there? I ASSUME THAT BODES WELL. (it did not bode as well as I thought it might, alas.) I do love it every time the Doctor admits he stole the TARDIS. I don't know why. It just delights me. Much like the Doctor OH SO DELICATELY…
Doctor Who – The Pilot
Doctor Who is back on the tellybox! HURRAH! And so begins a new exciting series of NOT REVIEWS on this blog. Now you might be asking, possibly, heh, didn’t you do these so-called non-reviews last season of Doctor Who and NOT ACTUALLY FINISH? And, yes, that is correct. So, I shall be, er, finishing off…
This Week’s Gaming Vids
I started a new (short) series of a playthrough of the CLASSIC 1992 RPG/strategy game Dune, based on the book (and heavily influenced by David Lynch's movie). It's an AWESOME game. Here is a round-up of STUFF that I found QUITE LOVELY this week: 1 - Actual local news! There's been a rather nifty archeological discovery where I live, where archeologists seem…

I say "should", but y'know, I don't want to gatekeep or the like; you might really not like the Fourth Doctor, in which case, sure, I JUDGE you, but I don't want you to be miserable watching Fourth Doctor stories when you could be having a yayful time watching Pertwee or the Other Baker or…

Two podcasts and an article
Hello, Tuesday, a day of much mist and rain which was LOVELY...it's not quite windy enough to be a STORM but it is getting there. But, yes, things! I was on a couple of podcasts recently, which were tremendous fun and hopefully Quite Nice to listen to: the latest Low Definition, one of the Incomparable…
Star Wars Rogue One Insta-reaction
SPOILERS, obviously. Lots and lots of spoilers. SPOILERS. I just saw the movie and I have to get the words out before they EAT ME. ... SPOILERS, dammit. Right, yes, so I loved it. Almost wholly. It felt like PROPER STAR WARS and also GOOD STAR WARS and it gave me feelings of YAY and…
Doctor Who Buckety List
I failed to make a Friday Flail list so instead (and I totally started writing this on Friday, so it somehow counts against not failing at regular blogging) I give you my DOCTOR WHO BUCKETY LIST. It was supposed to be Bucket List but I typoed and then thought I liked the typo better. ANYWAYS.…
