So this weekend was the wonderful Thoughtbubble convention. It takes place in Harrogate and is a marvellous event with hundreds of comics creators, and a friendly, upbeat atmosphere. It's also v welcoming if you know sod all about comics (I don't anymore! I def know a little bit! But when I first went this was…

Writing for Tom Baker!
Two posts in two days. What is this? But never fear, yet again I'm posting about some smashing news rather later then when it was announced. It's more Big Finish, and it's giddyingly awesome: I've written for Tom Baker. I thought it wasn't going to be out for years and years (it's still quite a…
The Grey Man of the Mountain is out!
Now if you are a BIg Finish fan, you might think "But that release came out months ago." Which is true. But the sentence is still correct, just horribly untimely. I would like to blame Covid. Anyway, my one (and only) contribution to the main range of Big Finish Doctor Who came out in December.…
Oh No December
I intended to make another attempt to do a post a day in December. Last year was unsuccessful but, hey, I tried. ALAS, it is 2020, so I missed the fact that December started yesterday. Well done me. Abbey of Heretics is out!
So excited to wake up this morning and discover that The Diary of River Song Series Seven is out! It seems forever since I wrote it, and it's such a thrill to know it's finally out in the world. It also remains utterly bizarre to me that I *wrote words* that *Alex Kingston* acted, and…
So You Want To Start A Podcast
There are hundreds of articles about starting podcasting online, full of helpful and relevant advice. Is this one of them? Uh, maybe. Sort of. I guess. I mean, why not? I have experience though! It's coming up to Verity!'s seventh birthday (how??!) (also, you can enter our seventh anniversary giveaway!), and Hammer House of Podcast's…
Sunday Is A Day For Very Little Blogging
So here's a lovely mosaic of pics of the best of all Doctor Who companions. Also Ian is there. It has been A Bit of A Week, but having a lovely Verity! podcast recording last night really helped lift my mood. (Also we are almost seven years old now! And doing a competition to celebrate:…
